Directions: 
Milk Run Rides Directions to Ride Site FROM MONCTON- get on Highway 2 west, take exit 423 (sign says Sussex, Petitcodiac, Saint John) look for this exit after you pass the Salisbury Big Stop. This puts you onto NB Route1 west. Take Exit 193 in Sussex (Fairway Inn will be at this exit on your right). Sign says Fredericton/ Roachville Road. This takes you up onto an overpass. Go straight across onto Route 10 west. At approximately 8 kms look for the yellow flashing lights at Berwick. Turn left onto Route 880. Follow this road approximately 5 kms until you cross two SINGLE LANE bridges. Turn right onto Route 875. In 1.1 km there will be a left turn to continue onto Route 875. Our place will be around 9 kms on the left. You will use the driveway at civic address number 334. FROM SAINT JOHN- get on NB route 1 east. Take exit 175 at Norton. At the stop sign turn right. You will pass under the highway and continue into Norton on Route 124 west. Follow the snaky road through the village until you come to a set of red flashing lights. Norton elementary school will be on your right. Go straight through the intersection by all the nice shiny tractors at Hall Brothers Enterprises. This keeps you on Route 124. In three kms you will turn right onto the Belleisle Road. There should be a road sign. At the turn there is a sign advertising McMillan Forest products. Around 6kms from here you will take a sharp right turn (Beware). About 500 meters after this SHARP turn you will go straight onto Route 875. The sign says Apohaqui. We are on the right hand side about 1.5 kms. You will enter at civic address number 334. FROM FREDERICTON- Take Exit 339 off of the Trans Canada 2 East. Sign says Jemseg/Cambridge Narrows. Take a left at the stop sign and then another left onto NB 695 South. Sign says Cambridge Narrows. Follow this road 13.5 kms over the bridge at the Narrows and take a right to continue on 695 South . A few hundred meters on this road 695 will veer to the left. Go that way for about 20 kms. At the stop sign take a left. This will put you onto Route 124 at Springfield. Travel about a half a km until you come to a three way. Go straight through onto NB Route 870 East. Follow this road for about 7 kms. You will come to Belleisle Corner. Turn right onto Route 875 East. Turn left in 2 kms to stay on 875. Our place is on the right you will enter at Civic Address number 334. Alternate Route from Fredericton If you don’t want to travel over the mountain, stay on the Trans Canada Highway 2 to exit 365. Turn right onto Route 10 towards Sussex. Approximately 27 kilometers turn right onto Route 880 at Berwick (there will be a flashing light). Follow this road approximately 5 kms until you cross two SINGLE LANE bridges. Turn right onto Route 875. In 1.1 km there will be a left turn to continue onto Route 875. Our place will be around 9 kms on the left. You will use the driveway at civic address number 334.

Description / Notes: 

This is a relaxed competition in a friendly no stress environment. Great for a young horse and/or someone experiencing competitive distance riding for the first time. The ride will consist of two loops with the half way back at ride camp. The Judge will be providing comments in the categories of Horsemanship and Trail Horse. The trail will consist of varied terrain, with some rock, railbed, creek and road crossings, fields, woods and gravel roads. There is no stabling however for those who wish to come early there is lots of room to set up a pen and camp. Not set up for camping? no worries, Just give me a shout and I will try my best to accommodate you. We will be offering light breakfast options, a bag lunch and a dinner following the ride. If you have special dietary considerations please bring your own meals. we will be happy to cook/heat them up for you.
WE RIDE RAIN OR SHINE! So come prepared.

You do not need to be a member of ACTRA to participate. You must, however, be a current member of your provincial association. You will be asked to provide a photocopy copy or a screenshot of your card with your entry.
